The artwork, ‘Traverse’, touches upon the concept of traversing through layers of reality and virtuality, examining the boundaries between dimensions of time and space. It begins with texts extracted from the article Deleuze, Diagrams, and the Genesis of Form, written by Manuel DeLanda, which describes how pebbles in nature are sorted by rivers through sedimentation. Traverse presents a "virtual journey" of a rock, repeatedly undergoing the process of scanning and gradually obscuring the texts, ultimately reaching a form of reality in painting, pointing to the materiality of pigment. This artwork explores the relationship between text, figures, and materials.
